This episode is on FIRE, alright?!? Harima meets “the editor that likes dogs” the captain was talking about. So does Yakumo, but he likes her a little bit more than he likes him. Then Tenma dresses up like Yakumo to test Harima and see if he’s really the ideal boyfriend, with some tips from her friends. Finally, while he’s staying at their house he tries to find Tenma’s room to tell her how he feels but he enters Yakumo’s room by mistake. Tenma’s not happy!
BOTTOM LINE: Fuckin lol

Some sappy story about an emerging ant queen taking refuge on the tank, and Honoka wanting to let it grow its wings and fly away before a rival colony destroyed it. I don’t know why she had such a hang up about it since she carves up plenty of them but whatever.
BOTTOM LINE: A little bit of Honoka’s past was revealed, that was pretty cool when the old guy saved the qt animal

Their victory over the last team is celebrated, and Ikki learns some shit about Sleeping Forest and the oldest sister, and her last boyfriend, the previous Sky King. Or Wind King. Or…fly king? I don’t even fucking know anymore.
Also I can’t remember if this is just one episode. I assume it is. That might be the wrong assumption though!
BOTTOM LINE: Ikki is such a GOOFBALL ha ha ha!

After watching Strawberry Panic 25 I feel it is important that I bring something to your attention.
Watching an episode of Strawberry Panic is like getting hit by a bolt of lightening: it’s painful, confusing, and I don’t reccomend doing it more than once

A show about two sisters who live alone, trying to scrape enough together for the rent while acting all sisterly. Kind of a happy/sad show. Very slowly paced. In this episode the older sister spends all the money the younger saved up trying to be nice, but the younger sister had plans for the money involving treating her older sister to a bunch of shit at the festival and they get into a big fight but make up at the end.

BOTTOM LINE: It’s not a bad show, but I don’t know if I’ll be able to watch a full season of it. A little high on the “emotions chart” for my taste but we’ll see

Robot Wars for ninjas. Boy vs girl, and we find out that the one spy chick is actually a guy undercover. They let him stay around because while he’s really good at spying, he’s a terrible spy, and constantly gives answers to both sides.
They build the robot with a ton of weapons but then the teacher learns at the competition it’s not a battle contest and he’s like :wtf:
BOTTOM LINE: It’s always a great joy to find out what you thought was a girl is, in fact, a guy. Bravo for this Japan, bravo

The potions girl meets a guy from the neighboring ninja school, which is totally taboo because they’re not allowed to help each other. But they do, and they get along, and they’re both potion nuts, and then they both get in trouble so they both try to erase each others memory, but neither falls for it but they pretend that they do.

Finally an episode where I don’t have to rant and rave about how pissed off this show makes me. Why? A) Because it’s mostly about Carmen (the play) and 2) a near toxic level of Chikaru. It’s like, toxic deliciousness. It’s almost too much of a good thing! Of course, in reality there could never be enough Chikaru in this show so it’s PERFECTLY SAFE DO NOT WORRY! She is looking pretty smokin’ in that dress imho. The play is almost ruined, because Amane fucks up (I think) or … someone kinda trips, but Chikaru manages to save the day by spinning around in an almost ninja-like move and staying upright. Unfortunately, it twists her ankle and Nagisa has to fill in for her. Weep.
Oh and there’s also some school festival thing.
BOTTOM LINE: Nagisa looks pretty good in that dress too but I mean come on, there’s Chikaru and then there’s…everyone else.

Chill out episode after the annihilation of an empire, as always. A young ruler comes to Hakuoro under cover of darkness, and chats a bit and just wants to hang out. Seems pretty nice!

Haruhi is working during the summer at a hotel resort place run by a cross dressing friend of her dad’s. The gang all find out where it is, and want to stay there but there’s only one room available. So they have to COMPETE by working there or…something. Mostly a twin episode, but some Tamaki in there too.
